Creating awareness of the ocean environment is one of the first steps in cultivating ocean stewards. In support of our mission, SEA-CT has developed a Coral Awareness and Conservation Program. We have developed two different presentation.
1. Coral Awareness and Conservation 2. Life on a Coral Reef 3. Exploring the Coral Reef These presentations will give the audience an overview of coral reefs, their importance, and the life that lives there. Additionally, the presentations discuss the threats that coral reefs face and the steps we can take to protect them. These presentations designed to be given to local communities, schools and civic organizations throughout the year. 2026 Schedule April 7, 2026 - Life on the Coral Reef - Wallingford Public Library April 8, 2026 - Exploring the Coral Reef - Platt High School, Meriden April 13, 2026 - Coral Awareness and Conservation - Welles-Turner Library - Glastonbury. 6:30 PM - Check out the details.
